UPCOMING AREA EVENTS
Feb. 3: The Nicholls State University baseball program will host Old Timers Softball and Alumni games and First Pitch Banquet on Feb. 3. The softball game will start at 9:30 a.m. on Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field with the Alumni Game following at 11 a.m. A $25 fee will be incurred for the cost of jerseys, caps, food and drinks. Information on the Alumni Baseball Game can be found at geauxcolonels.com. All former players are invited to attend and encouraged to RSVP. The First Pitch Banquet, presented by the Sports Medicine Center of Thibodaux Regional, will feature two-time Major League Baseball World Series Champion Ryan Theriot as the special guest. Theriot will host a question and answer on stage with fan interaction. The event, beginning at 6:30 p.m., will be held inside the Conference Center at the Wellness Center of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. Fans will also hear from players and coaches on the upcoming season and meet former players to get an inside track on all things Colonel Baseball. Season-ticket packages will be on sale with one of the most exciting home schedules in recent memory on tap. Current and former players will be on hand to sign autographs and meet and greet those in attendance. A limited number of eight-seat reserved tables are available for $600 and individual general admission seats are $60 each. Tickets can be purchased at geauxcolonels.com.
