A cold front brought a blast of coastal wind, valley rain, and mountain snow this morning and early afternoon.

Expecting scattered showers this evening and tomorrow morning.

After good snow Sunday the slopes should be primed with fresh powder on Monday.

Tuesday will bring another round of coastal winds, valley rain and mountain snow. This time 8-16 inches of snow looks possible.

Tuesday the snow level starts around the passes and raises to 5,000 feet before dropping back to 4,000 feet on Wednesday. Should get another 4-8 inches of snow on Wednesday. After that snow levels drop to 2,000 feet on Thursday with snow showers dropping another 2-4 inches of snow. That would be a great day for skiing... or Friday as it looks like moisture will have mostly dried out by then, might even got some sun shining down. All in all 1-2 feet of snow in the Cascades this week.

Have a great week!
