Delays following truck crash on SH2, in the Karangahake Gorge

Motorists are being warned of delays after a truck rolled in the Karangahake Gorge betwen Paeroa and Waihi this morning.

The truck rolled around 8.30am, but the driver was not injured in the crash.

A Police spokesman said it was likely the road would be closed for a number of hours when a crane arrived to remove the truck.

Traffic management was in place, however motorists were being advised to avoid the area.
