Men's College Hockey: Pohlkamp, McLain score in Bowling Green sweep

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio—Chris Pohlkamp scored his first goal of the season as the Bowling Green State University Falcons completed a weekend sweep of Alaska Anchorage with a 3-2 win Saturday.

The goal was the second of Pohlkamp's career and first since Oct. 31, 2015. Mitch McLain collected his eighth assist of the season on Pohlkamp's goal. McLain extended his point streak to seven games. He has nine points (4 goals, 5 assists) during the streak.

In Friday's 6-2 victory, McLain scored his 12th goal of the season and collected an assist.

BGSU improves to 14-8-6 overall, 11-4-5-2 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association games. The Falcons trail conference leader Minnesota State by five points with four series remaining. BGSU plays Lake Superior State at Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., next Friday and Saturday.
