William H. Macy Wins Best Actor in a Comedy Series at SAG Awards 2018!

It’s a win for William H. Macy!

The 67-year-old Shameless actor took home his third Screen Actors Guild Award at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

“Even though our lines and the stories we’re told are given to us by writers, it’s our job, under those imaginary circumstances, to find the truth. And I think it’s a glorious way to make a living, especially in this day and age when so many people either can’t recognize the truth or don’t think it’s important,” he said during his speech.

William won for his role as Frank Gallagher. This is his second consecutive win in the category and fourth career win, previously being honored in 2017 and 2015 for Shameless, as well as in 2003 for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for Door to Door.

William walked the red carpet with his wife, Felicity Huffman.
