IOC rally

The city witnessed another cycle rally on Sunday, Saksham 2018 Cyclothon, organised by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). The objective was to create awareness on oil and gas conservation besides promoting the health benefits of the same to the public. The rally was flagged off from Kote Anjaneyaswamy temple. Scores of cyclists took part.

It covered Mysuru Zoo, Melody World Wax Museum and reached Decathlon.

The cyclothon aimed at instilling a socio-environmental consciousness among citizens focusing on the larger motive of conserving foreign exchange on fuel imports. It was also a clarion call to citizens to come together and work to build a nation that is green, clean and pollution-free.
