More than 110,000 votes were cast on Sunday as the advance voting in the presidential elections continued, the local media reported.
The turnout following Sunday’s voting has already reached 24.2 percent.
Compared to six years, voter turnout in the current presidential elections has been higher after Sunday's advance voting. The turnout after voting on Sunday in the previous presidential election advance voting was 20 percent.
A total of 1,028,000 has been cast since advance voting began on Wednesday.
Votes cast in the regions of Satakunta and Lapland is already approaching the 30 percent mark. Voter turnout in the Satakunta is 29.7 percent and in Lapland the turnout had reached 28.8 percent on Sunday.
