Pedestrian struck, killed in Fayetteville crash

Fayetteville, N.C. — A pedestrian was struck and killed late Saturday in a crash.

According to officials with the State Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was walking in the roadway near Andrews Road and Countryside Drive around 10:30 p.m. when a pickup truck headed in the same direction struck him or her. The name of the pedestrian has not been released.

Officials said no charges have been filed against the driver.
