A BRTA official's wife was killed in a road accident on Naogaon-Rajshahi road in Manda upazila of Naogaon on Sunday noon.
Deceased Hosne Ara Hasi, 35, was the wife of Naogaon BRTA's Deputy Director Moynul Hasan Biplob, said Manda Police Station officer in-charge Anisur Rahman.
The BRTA official along with his wife and three children was going to Rajshahi from Naogaon.
A brick-laden tractor collided with his private car in Haji Gobindapur area around 12:00pm, leaving Hasi dead on the spot and Moynul and his children critically injured, the OC added.
