Alexis Sanchez swap deal: Henrik Mkhitaryan arrives at Arsenal hotel ahead of medical
HENRIKH MKHITARYAN has arrived at Arsenal’s team hotel in preparation for his medical.
The Armenian is on the verge of joining the Gunners after they agreed a straight swap deal with Manchester United for Alexis Sanchez.
Mkhitaryan is expected to undergo his medical with Arsenal over the next 48 hours but the latest images suggest it will happen this afternoon.
If he passes all of the tests then it is highly likely the deal could be completed later today.
The midfielder checked into this London hotel shortly before 11pm last night and was all smiles as he stood for photographs with passers by.

Yesterday Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirmed that the deal would happen soon as long as everything was fine with the medical examination.
"January has been difficult for us, destabilising,” Wenger said.
“We have had big players concerned with moving away which causes uncertainty.
"The deal happens only one way, if the other way happens as well, that's why it takes longer as well because it has to be co-ordinated.

Arsenal are also pushing on with strengthening their squad in other areas.
Express Sport understands that the Gunners have had a £45million bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rejected.
However, the north London outfit are expected to go in with an improved offer.
