Transfer news: Updates from Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham, Newcastle and more

TOTTENHAM boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to snatch Bordeaux forward Malcom from under the noses of North London rivals Arsenal.

Malcom is wanted by Tottenham

Malcom is keen to secure a move and wants to play in the Champions League.

But a deal is being discussed that would loan the 20-year-old Brazilian back to Bordeaux, who are fighting to avoid relegation.

Crystal Palace left-back Patrick Van Aanholt could head home to Holland to join PSV Eindhoven. The Dutch international, who started his career with Chelsea, is set to depart Selhurst Park this month.

Van Aanholt was a target for Everton, who are likely to be priced out after spending £47million on Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott this month.

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney is in the middle of a tug of war between West Brom and Newcastle.

The 27-year-old only signed a contract with the Championship side last year, when he also appeared on Magpies manager Rafa Benitez’s radar, and West Brom boss Alan Pardew is thought to be preparing a £12million bid.

Swansea boss Carlos Carvalhal is fighting to persuade West Ham’s Andre Ayew to return to the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans are ready to pay West Ham £20million to re-sign the striker who scored 12 goals in 35 appearances for the club to before joining The Hammers.

But Ayew is reportedly not keen on another relegation battle with the south Wales outfit.
