NO TRUST
If we can’t trust the politicians, police, and media for reporting the truthful facts, what is next for Canada?
I realize politicians have been the least trustworthy of them all for as long as I can remember, but what happened to the media and now the police? I believe Canadians have now reached a point in Canada’s long history that we can’t trust anyone. It is sad.

TRUMP’S HEALTH
It was entertaining to watch the good doctor who gave Donald Trump his physical answer reporters’ questions Tuesday. He pronounced the president “in excellent health” yet also admitted that he is borderline obese.
Typical of the doublespeak that emanates from the daily White House press briefings.

IRAN PROTEST
President Donald Trump was quick to show support for Iran’s protesters who are just after more freedom. One has to wonder why Justin Trudeau hasn’t shown explicit support.

ALL WYNNE’S FAULT
As politicians are wont to do, Kathleen Wynne has shuffled her cabinet, attempting to make it more attractive for the coming election.
But she failed to remove the greatest negative – herself!
One must wonder how shuffling a bunch of incompetent misfits is supposed to keep the Liberal ship afloat.
And to the low-income and less-educated marks whose support is growing because of the bribes paid for with your tax dollars, I say perhaps you are desperate for these bribes because your precarious position is a result of Wynne’s incompetence and wasteful spending in the first place. Don’t be conned again.

(Wait … it’s Kathleen Wynne’s fault that some folks haven’t been as fortunate in life?)
SPEND SPEND SPEND
Justin Trudeau has the same spending addiction as Kathleen Wynne and no amount of new revenue from a carbon tax and selling pot will cure it. Look at the outrageous spending on ideologically driven projects.
I am old enough to remember how the first Trudeau government nearly bankrupted Canada, the son may well finish that job!

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
This incident involving Const. Marcel Allan allegedly brandishing a knife while uttering threats at a person’s dwelling is nothing to sneeze at. And, he has had other encounters with the Police Services Act.
Police chiefs need to have the power to suspend these people without pay until such time as their trial comes up, this would involve only cases dealing with extremely serious incidents while the cop in question is not on shift.
Any person subsequently found not guilty should be immediately re-instated and their lost salary reimbursed. Enough is enough.
