Patricia (Rozycki) Owens Aliquippa Patricia Louise Owens, 73, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Born in Rochester, Pa., on October 19, 1944, she was the daughter of the late John Philip and Frances (Lasky) Rozycki. Patti was a lifelong resident of Aliquippa. She attended eight years of school at St. Titus Elementary School and graduated from Hopewell High School in 1962. During her lifetime, she was employed by Duplaga, Tocci, Palmieri, McMillan & Fouse Law Firm; PGT Trucking, and retired from the Municipality of Hopewell Township. Patti was a member of the Aliquippa Christian Assembly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ray Owens, and her daughter, Patricia Rae "Pattirae" Owens. She is survived by a brother, John Philip (Beverly) Rozycki, Coraopolis; sister, Phyllis (Ron) Dominici, Industry; stepdaughter, Marsha (Dan) Hood, Glenshaw; stepson, Jeffrey Owens, Aliquippa; son-in-law, David Zelsnack, Aliquippa; a sister-in-law, Norma Nieman, Pittsburgh, and a large extended family of nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, cousins and many dear friends. Friends will be received Monday, January 22, 2018 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (GPS 848 Sunflower Road, adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Elder Bob Galino officiating. Private entombment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family wishes to thank the staff at Montefiore Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, for their kindness, compassion and excellent care.
