Bicyclist hit, killed in Pinellas Park

A bicyclist was hit and killed Saturday morning while crossing 49th Street in Pinellas Park.
The crash occurred around 9:45 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 8700 block of 49th Street.
Pinellas Park Police said an adult male, riding a bicycle, was attempting to cross the street when he was hit by a northbound vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead on scene.
According to witnesses, three vehicles traveling down 49th Street were speeding, but only one hit the bicyclist, the report stated.
All three vehicles stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators. Officials said none of the drivers knew each other prior to the crash.
Investigators are working to identify the victim's next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
