The third paragraph has been corrected to state Jesse Schultz stated that he took a gun from Devon Neuman and shot, a criminal compliant stated.
FOND DU LAC - Two men in their early 20s have been arrested in connection with the death of Logan Foster, who was found gunned down in a parking lot across from the Press Box Tavern last September.
Fond du Lac police arrested Devon F. Neuman, 22, and Jesse L.A. Schultz, 23, at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, said Chief Bill Lamb. The arrest followed a four-month investigation..
Investigators believe the motive was a drug deal gone bad, and a witness who came forward told police Schultz stated in confidence that he and Neuman had been fighting a guy over some money and Schultz took a gun from Neuman and "shot the guy" and they took $100, court records state.
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney says both men are expected to appear in court Monday on charges of first degree intentional homicide and armed robbery. Neuman faces an additional charge of carrying a concealed weapon.

Both men are repeat offenders and face life in prison if convicted.
Schultz was picked up by police on Oct. 14 on drug-related charges, as was Neuman on Nov. 10. Both have remained in custody in Fond du Lac County Jail since the arrests.
Foster, 30, of Fond du Lac was found face-down in the gravel parking lot about 7:40 a.m. on Sept. 23 and pronounced dead by the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner's Office.
Initially, Fond du Lac police offered limited details on the case, and did not confirm rumors that Foster was shot.
Investigators allege the two men and Foster began talking in the area of the Press Box Tavern, 251 Forest Ave., at about 12:30 a.m. that day, and walked together across the street to the vacant parking lot.
Police believe the suspects attempted to rob Foster, which led to a physical altercation in which Foster was shot twice.
A woman told police that she pulled into the same gravel parking lot where Logan's body was found about 12:30 a.m. to meet her boyfriend at the tavern. She described seeing three men who appeared drunk and who "made her nervous." She also reported hearing what sounded like two gunshots, about five seconds apart, the criminal complaint states.
On Nov. 9, police released photos of two people investigators were interested in questioning. Lamb said in a news release Friday that leads were developed based on video surveillance and community members who provided information.
Surveillance footage showed Foster drinking at the Press Box just hours before he was found dead. Less than $10 was found on the victim and his wallet was missing, court records state.
Fired shell casings and an unspent round located near the body were found at the scene.
More than one witness told police they saw Neuman earlier in the evening showing off a handgun while hanging out with Schultz at another downtown bar.
The police informant who said Schultz confessed to him, told detectives that they were hanging out about 4 p.m. on Sept. 23 at a rooming house where they both used heroin, court records state. The person said Schultz told them that he hurt his foot from kicking a guy they were trying to get money from when they were by the "shacks" across from the Press Box.
He said that Schultz said he was worried Neuman would tell the police and that Neuman didn't know what to do with the gun. Another person said Schultz used a $100 bill to purchase some crack cocaine during the early hours of Sept. 23.
In a statement, Lamb commended those who assisted in the arrests.
“Mr. Foster’s death and the circumstances we believe were involved in his murder are tragic, and we continue to hold Mr. Foster’s family, friends, and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers," Lamb said. "Through the persistence and dedication of the members of the City of Fond du Lac Police Department and Fond du Lac County District Attorney’s Office who were involved in this investigation, two individuals that we believe played a role in the robbery and murder of Mr. Foster have now been arrested."
