Vikings super fans are starting to strut their stuff in Bismarck

BISMARCK With the Vikings one game away from potentially clinching the NFC Championship fans in Bismarck are strutting their gear.
One Vikings super fan bleeds purple and gold.

"Paul Krause, Joey Browner, ticket stubs, Bill Boom Boom Brown here's a check I wrote to him to sign some autographs," said Clint Clendenen also known as Mr. Viking.

Clint Clendenen's Vikings memorabilia is made up of 5,000 pieces. collection dates back to the 60s.

A horn "SKOL" from the early 70s and a 1974 AM radio helmet.

"Mankato of 94, any little thing I would keep," said Mr. Viking.

From trinkets to press passes every item sparking a memory...but his most prized possession...the card collection.

"I'd drive hundreds of miles just to buy cards, any Viking card they had, I'd by them out," said Mr. Viking.

"68, Dave Osborne from Cando, North Dakota ...Favorite Viking of all time," said Mr. Viking.

The 1981 Ford Courier fit with the license plate Mr. Viking. The nickname dubbed by former Vikings player Mike Merriweather.

The Vikings Mobile was decked out last year when the team was 5-0.

Mr. Viking is a regular at Vikings Training camp in Mankato having attended 17 times.

"Vikes, ya, superbowl bound baby ," said Mr. Viking.

The Minnesota Vikings are one game away from making it to Super Bowl 52 at their home stadium.

Mr. Viking will be sporting his gear like he does year round.

The Vikings will be in Philadelphia for the NFC Championship game tomorrow. Kickoff is at 5:40 pm and you can watch on our station West Dakota Fox.
