Now that the season is in full swing, let's look at five of the most intriguing teams in 3A and 4A. Wochit
A few teams suffered losses, but each to quality competition. Here's our latest All-Class Super 10:
1. Iowa City West (11-1)
If Johnston won both its games last week, the Trojans might not be here. But the Dragons fell twice. A one-point loss on the road to a great Cedar Falls team — with a 36-point night from A.J. Green — won't drop West this week, especially since it rebounded with a 10-point win over Cedar Rapids Prairie.
Last week: 1
This week: Tuesday vs. Iowa City High, Saturday vs. Bishop Miege (Kansas) in Quincy, Illinois
2. Sioux City East (12-1)
The Black Raiders secured a big 58-57 win over Bishop Heelan (who handed them their lone loss) and another close win, 55-53, over Cedar Rapids Kennedy in their final two games of a 3-0 week.
Last week: 3
This week: Friday at Sergeant Bluff-Luton
3. Des Moines North (13-2)
North ended a five-game-in-nine-day stretch with a 5-0 record. The last win — a triple-overtime, 93-86 decision over Sioux City West — saw five Polar Bears score double figures.

This week: Friday at Ottumwa

4. Des Moines Hoover (12-1)
The Huskies have ripped off eight straight wins since their lone loss to North. Devonte Thedford (19.4 ppg), Hosea Treadwell (12.4) and Adam Jackson (12) are averaging double-figure points per game.
Last week: 5
This week: Tuesday vs. Urbandale, Friday vs. Des Moines Lincoln
5. Cedar Falls (10-3)
Considered a preseason favorite to make the Class 4A state tournament, Cedar Falls vaults back into the top five after its 55-54 win over West, plus a 20-point win over a good Kennedy team. Green is averaging 26.5 points per game.
Last week: 9
This week: Tuesday at Linn-Mar
6. Waukee (11-2)
Had the Tigers not upset West, the Warriors would have the No. 5 spot. Still, a 54-49 win versus Johnston — and 37-33 win over Ames — add to an impressive resume for Waukee.
Last week: 6
This week: Tuesday at Lincoln, Friday vs. Southeast Polk, Saturday vs. Linn-Mar
7. North Scott (12-1)
The Lancers edged Joe Wieskamp-led Muscatine, 55-46, on Friday to bump their win streak to 12 games. Minnesota State-Mankato pledge Corvon Seales is averaging 15.3 points per game.
Last week: 7
This week: Tuesday at Davenport Assumption, Friday at Pleasant Valley
8. Dowling Catholic (10-3)
The Maroons were close to cracking the Super 10 last week, and a convincing 63-45 win over Johnston pushes them all the way up to No. 8. Sam Ingoli is averaging 15.7 points and five assists per game.
Last week: Unranked
This week: Tuesday at Des Moines Roosevelt, Friday vs. Fort Dodge
9. Johnston (10-3)
An 0-2 week — one close loss to Waukee, one not-very-close loss to Dowling — drops Johnston seven spots in this Super 10. The Dragons are still very much a 4A power, but they certainly had a bad week.
Last week: 2
This week: Tuesday vs. Southeast Polk, Friday vs. Urbandale
10. Pleasant Valley (11-1)
Just one game last week for Pleasant Valley, getting the job done, 52-47, against Davenport Assumption. It's got a huge game versus North Scott this week. The Lancers beat Pleasant Valley, 45-36, on Dec. 12.
Last week: 9
This week: Tuesday at Burlington, Friday vs. North Scott
