Trails to Tuckerman Historical Society had first meeting of the year Jan.8, 2018 in the Tuckerman City Court room. In the absence of President Tommy Young the meeting was called to order by Vice President Eddie Nagel. Secretary Vickie Williams read minutes of last meeting. Interim Treasurer Sandra Brock gave financial report. Reporter Ollie Brown presented card and pictures from Mrs. Emma Lea Blackwood also she hoped everyone saw the Christmas images on the grey wall of the Veteran’s park. The student of the month of Jan was Chaylun Dennis he was presented cash and a plaque by Vickie Williams. Debbie Brown gave status of the archives and the personal oral interviews. Nagel and Brock conducted the annual election. Officers for the year of 2018 are President Tommy Young, 1st Vice President Eddie Nagel, 2nd Vice President of archiving Debbie Brown, Secretary Vickie Williams, Treasurer Sandra Brock, Reporter Ollie Brown. Board members at Large are James Young, Bill Biggers and Wayne Boyce. Show and Tell were pictures from Mrs. Blackwood and an old truck with Trails sign in it that was in the Tuckerman Christmas Parade Tommy and Eva Young, Debbie Brown and Mitzi Milligan rode in the truck.
