Three Burlington men were arrested Friday night during a traffic stop that turned up a large bag of marijuana and two loaded handguns.
The driver, Robert Cortez Mack, 22, was charged with driving while revoked, no insurance and failure to obey a traffic control device.
Two of his passengers also were arrested. James Lee Watts, 20, was charged with carrying weapons, and the other passenger, Jilvone Sherlon Lee Watts, 19, was charged with carrying weapons, fourth-degree theft and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
The traffic stop occurred at 7:25 p.m. Friday on Market Street near South Seventh Street. Officers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, officers found two loaded handguns inside items belonging to James Watts and Jilvone Watts.
While searching Jilvone Watts, officers located a large amount of marijuana in his underwear that was packaged for distribution. The handgun found inside Jilvone Watts' belongings had been reported stolen from New London.
