The maximum temperatures dropped marginally and Una was hottest with a high of 24.2 degrees Celsius while Bhuntar and Sundernagar recorded maximum temperatures at 22.2 degrees Celsius and 21.8 degrees Celsius, followed by 20.8 degrees Celsius in Nahan, 19 degrees Celsius in Solan, 17.6 degrees Celsius in Dharamshala and Shimla, 15.6 degrees Celsius in Manali, 14.0 degrees Celsius in Kalpa and 7.6 degrees Celsius in Keylong. The MeT office here has predicted rains, thundershowers in lower, mid and higher hills on January 23 and dry weather in the state over the next four days. The prolonged dry spell is causing anxiety to farmers but it proved a boon for ice skating lovers.
