Kidzu Children's Museum recently added hours to its public schedule.

Starting this month, the Chapel Hill museum will be open until 7 p.m,. Wednesdays, so working parents have time to hang out with their kids at Kidzu during the week, according to the museum's Twitter feed. The new hours come in response to feedback from museum visitors.

The museum, which is inside University Place, offers activities for babies to tweens and a regular slate of programs, workshops and camps. The museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday (with extended hours on Wednesday), and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays. Admission is $8.50 for everybody over 12 months of age.
