Georgeanna (Downing) Gilham

SENECAVILLE — Georgeanna (Downing) Gilham, 94, of Senecaville, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday (January 18, 2018) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 27, 1923 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Barney and Leota (Birch) Downing.

Georgeanna was a homemaker and also worked at G.C. Murphy for 25 years. She was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and a very active member of Senecaville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Gilham; one son, Ronald Gilham; and four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter Judith (James) Anderson of St. Clairsville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Senecaville where services will follow at noon with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating. Burial will be in Belmont County Memorial Park, St. Clairsville.
