UWA men hold off CBU

LIVINGSTON – The University of West Alabama Tigers never trailed and were only tied with the Christian Brothers Buccaneers for 29 seconds on the way to an 86-67 victory in Pruitt Hall in Gulf South Conference Men’s basketball action Saturday evening.

UWA (14-5, 8-3 GSC) hits the road for its next four games, beginning on Thursday at West Georgia.

Charles Eaton turned in his eighth 30-point performance. The senior guard scored 31 points and made seven rebounds. Josh Fleming scored 22 points and Trey Petty 11.
