He was thought to be in Manchester preparing for his medical.

But the player posted a video on his instagram account this morning, appearing to show him boarding a plane at a snowy airport.

He has now landed in Manchester, after departing from is thought to be Farnborough airport this morning.

He was accompanied by flight support firm Signature.

Sanchez is all set to undergo a medical later today at United’s Carrington training base.

Express Sport understands he has not yet arrived for the physical tests.

Meanwhile, Henrikh Mkhitaryan was spotted in London last night ahead of his move to Arsenal.

The Gunners and United have agreed a straight swap deal between the pair.

Jose Mourinho yesterday refused to confirm Sanchez will join United, although he said the deal was now likely.

"Mr Woodward is working hard, everybody is giving everything they can, and I think they will be successful," he said.

"Expect soon or never. So close, so close, so close, if it doesn't happen it's not going to happen.

“I know my people are doing absolutely everything they can. I think they will be successful."

Arsene Wenger was also asked about Arsenal’s loss of Sanchez yesterday and said: "I expect it to happen, but I can’t announce it. In the next 48 hours it will be decided. Until it’s over the line you can't say it will happen.

"If you want to have a bit, it could happen.

"It happens only one way, if the other way happens as well. That’s why it takes longer as well because it is co-ordinated.

"I half announce today Sanchez/Mkhitaryan because it’s likely to happen. The rest, we are not close at all to anything."
