Home chefs, local cooks and some of your favorite Mid-Michigan restaurants take center stage at the first ever Savor the Flavor of Flint event January 27 at the Dort Event Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Special projects coordinator Stacy Swimp and some of the team helping to bring this event to life stopped by ABC12's Flint studio Saturday.
The completely free event will feature a performance by gospel singing sensation Kierra Sheard and lifestyle expert Debra Peek-Haynes will be speaking.
