Women's basketball
Worcester State 74, Fitchburg State 63: Former Nashoba star Sam Maglione came off the bench to score 26 points, hitting six 3-pointers, while Catherine Sweeney added 16 points and 14 rebounds to send the host Lancers (8-8, 2-2 MASCAC) past the Falcons (5-11, 0-4).
Worcester State's Kate Surprenant added 14 points and former Quaboag Regional standout Britt Herring added six points and 11 rebounds.
Fitchburg State's Angelina Marazzi had 21 points and Millbury's Mikaela Mitchell scored 20.
Becker 59, Elms 47: Adrianna Dowdy had 15 points and 19 rebounds (16 defensive), while former Quabbin star Sarah Ware scored 16 and Cassidy Harrison added 14 points to send the host Hawks (9-7, 5-3 NECC) over the Blazers (5-9, 4-4).
It was Dowdy's eighth double-double of the season and her sixth in her last seven games.
MIT 57, Clark 46: Dominique St. Pierre and former Douglas star Hannah Favaloro each had 10 points, while Ogechi Ezemma brought down 13 boards, but the visiting Cougars (8-10, 2-7 NEWMAC) were edged by the Engineers (11-5, 7-2).
Roger Williams 62, Nichols 43: Isabella Nerney scored 15 as the host Bison (3-13, 1-8 CCC) fell to the Hawks (14-3, 8-2).
St. Joseph's (Me.) 81, Anna Maria 40: Johanna Burke had nine points and Hailey Moore scored eight as the visiting AmCats (1-14, 0-6 GNAC) fell to the Monks (15-1, 8-0).
St. Rose 76, Assumption 65: Morgan O'Brien and Morgan O'Donnell each scored 14, while Meghan Reen added 11 points and Kiera O'Donnell scored 10, but the visiting Greyhounds (7-10, 4-8 NE-10) had their four-game winning streak snapped in a loss to the Golden Knights (9-9, 7-5).
WPI 65, Wheaton 48: Stasha Greenalch had 17 points, while Madison Beck scored 11, Brittany Lambert and Alana Keating each scored nine to propel the host Engineers (14-4, 7-2 NEWMAC) over the Lyons (7-10, 2-6).
Greenalch and Beck combined for 13 points in the second half. Maura Buckley had nine rebounds for WPI, while teammate and former Holy Name star Ama Biney had 6 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
Men's basketball
Dean 90, Becker 87: Kareem Davis scored 24 and Samuel Durodola added 17 points, but the host Hawks (7-8, 4-2 NECC) were edged by the Bulldogs (10-7, 5-1).
Davis sank a 3-pointer with seven seconds left to cut the lead to 88-87, but Dean's Josh Croskey made a pair of free throws to extend the lead to three and Davis missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to tie.
Fitchburg State 91, Worcester State 88: Brandon Harris had a team-high 20 points, while the Falcons bench chipped in as Joshua Bosworth (17 points), Tyrell St. John (13 points) and Charles Doss (13 points) all had big games as the visiting Falcons (6-10, 2-2 MASCAC) held off the Lancers (1-16, 0-4). Oxford's Shaun McCarthy dropped 32 points to lead Worcester State, while former Quaboag Regional star Will Watkins Jr. scored 17 and Maynard's Cal Howes added 11 points.
St. Joseph's (Maine) 74, Anna Maria 69: Former Shepherd Hill star Mike Rapoza continued his tear, dropping 23 points and 15 rebounds, but the visiting AmCats (4-11, 1-5 GNAC) were edged by the Monks (10-6, 5-2).
Kenneth Graham scored 18 and Bobby Perette added 14 points for Anna Maria.
St. Rose 91, Assumption 67: Bryan Boehlert came off the bench to lead the Greyhounds with a career-high 21 points and Patrick Fleming scored 11, but Assumption (6-12, 2-10 NE-10) couldn't get past the Golden Knights (15-4, 10-1).
WPI 85, Clark 72: Chris Rodgers scored 21 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals, former Quaboag Regional star Jake Wisniewski added 13 points and six rebounds and Reid Walker scored 11 to propel the host Engineers (10-7, 4-2 NEWMAC) over the Cougars (3-14, 0-6).
Dakota Wheeler scored nine off the bench for WPI, which has won four straight. The Engineers scored on 56.7 percent of their shots from the floor and made 13 of 21 3-point attempts. WPI also scored 16 points off turnovers.
John Pisacreta and Biko Gayman each scored 16 for Clark, while Luca McCormick scored 14. Kyle Coughlin scored nine off the bench for the Cougars.
Quincy 106, Quinsigamond 101: John Dombrowski of Fitchburg dumped in a game-high 47 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the visiting Wyverns (4-11), who fell short to Quincy (16-1). Justin Gasper added 17 points and 10 boards for QCC.
Men's hockey
Endicott 7, Nichols 1: Vincent Crivello scored his eighth of the season in the second period, but the visiting Bison (11-6-2, 6-4-2 CCC) were steamrolled by the Gulls (15-2-2, 11-1-0)
Fitchburg State 0, Salem State 0: Kirby Saari made 47 saves to help the visiting Falcons (9-5-2, 4-4-2 MASCAC) earn a draw with the Vikings (7-8-2, 4-6-1).
St. Anselm 6, Assumption 3: John Chamberlain scored in the first period and Kieran Peters and Matt Drake tallied in the third as the visiting Greyhounds (7-8-2, 3-5-1 NE-10) fell to the Hawks (8-7-1, 5-2-0).
Westfield State 4, Worcester State 3: Aaron Clancy scored with 5:16 left in the third period to lift the Owls (5-9-1, 3-6-0 MASCAC) past the Lancers (11-5-0, 6-4-0).
Tim Drevitch and Mike Moran scored to give Worcester State an early lead, but the Owls scored twice in the first period to tie. Ryan James added a goal in the third period for the Lancers and Josh Reinstein made 32 saves.
Women's hockey
Holy Cross 6, Saint Michael's 0: Emily Lissner scored twice and Julia Pelletier (9 saves) and Marcia LaPlante (10 saves) combined on the shutout as the host Crusaders (11-5-2) blanked the Purple Knights (3-15).
Maeve Reilly, Kelsey Goostrey, Kara Violette (assist) and Allison Attea (assist) also scored for Holy Cross, which has won five straight.
