ALEDO — The Ridgewood High School girls basketball team finished sixth at the Lincoln Trail Conference Tournament with a 53-45 loss to Stark County on Saturday.
The Spartans were outscored 20-7 in the first quarter and trailed 34-20 a the break. The Rebels widened their lead with a 10-8 third quarter. Ridgewood rallied for a 17-9 final eight minutes before running out of time.
Carlie Barman led the Spartans with 18 points.
Kylee Lindley had 15 points and Abby Statler added 11 for the Rebels.
Ridgewood finished the tournament 2-3 and Stark County went 3-2.

At Aledo, the Heat capitalized on an 11-3 second quarter to defeat the Wildcats in the seventh-place game at the LTC Tournament.
West Central led 17-11 after the first two quarters and edged Galva 23-22 in the second half.
Mady Reed led the Heat with 13 points and Corinne Booton added 10.
Darrah Schilling had a game-high 17 points to lead the Wildcats. Hannah Anderson added 13 for Galva.
West Central wrapped up the tournament 2-3 and Galva finished 1-4.
ROWVA 48
United 36
At Aledo, the Tigers picked up their first win of the LTC Tournament with a rout of the Red Storm in the ninth-place game.
ROWVA held a 23-17 lead at the intermission and outscored United 25-19 in the second half.
Calyn Garza led the Tigers with 12 points.
The Red Storm were led by Carly Thompson with eight points.
ROWVA was 1-4 in tournament action and United finished 0-5.
In other LTC Tournament action, Annawan won the LTC Tournament after defeating Wethersfield 54-46 in the championship game. Princeville finished third with a 70-44 win over Mercer County.
