The Silverton Chamber of Commerce holds its annual First Citizen banquet Feb. 3.
Members of the public are invited to come to the Oregon Garden Pavilion to honor the community’s outstanding volunteers, including First Citizen Andy Bellando, Distinguished Service Award Sue Roessler, Business of the Year Les Schwab Tire Center, Judy Schmidt Lifetime Achievement Award Bob Holowati and a Future First Citizen.
The Silver Falls School District will recognize teachers and classified employees of the year, and local service organizations will honor their top volunteers.
Tickets are $40 each and are available at the chamber office, 426 S. Water Street.
