Searching for a royal: Agencies in desperate need of Prince Harry lookalikes

THERE is a shortage of Prince Harry lookalikes in the run-up to the royal wedding.

DOPPELGANGER: Prince Harry lookalikes are in high demand

Agencies have been flooded with Meghan doppelgangers ahead of their big day on May 19.

But there aren’t enough doubles of Prince Harry to keep up with soaring demand.

Leading agency Susan Scott said they had 76 Harrys on their books.

But a spokesman said: “Many are artists we have had on our books since they were children so their looks have changed, as have Harry’s.

“We have six Harry lookalikes we work with regularly and we need more.”

They said that the perfect candidate would be between 5ft 10ins and 6ft 3ins.

And “plummy” accents are preferable but not essential for the role.

The spokesman added: “Not everybody can master accents but the lookalikes must try to speak similarly.

“Harry is fairly well spoken but not too plummy.”

Harry lookalikes can earn thousands from corporate bookings and even private parties.

Susan Scott said some of the events they could be asked to cover include anything from TV appearances to PR stunts and even acting as decoys.

The agency currently has 28 Meghan Markle lookalikes on its books.

The insider added:“We need more Harrys to work alongside our Markle Sparkles.

“As our Meghan lookalikes come in various sizes we will also consider any slightly shorter Prince Harry lookalikes.”
