WOCAP forming parenting classes


LIMA — Parents of minor children in Allen, Auglaize and Mercer Counties now have access to a free, 10-class program offered by the West Ohio Community Action Partnership. “MVP: Most Valuable Parents Program” includes group-based lessons that covers a variety of parenting topics, including child development, problem solving, anger management and understanding feelings.

“MVP: Most Valuable Parents Program” is being funded by the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund.

“We are proud to offer a program that strengthens our families by giving parents the tools to cope with every day challenges,” said Andrea M. Morrow, WOCAP Director of Employment & Training Services.
