Bokaro International Film Festival ‘Drishyam 3’ concluded with a thumping note here on Saturday. The two days film festival was organised at Ashwaghosh Hall of DPS Bokaro; the highlights of this festival were classic cinemas and celebrities associated with film and art.
Dr Hemlata S Mohan the President of Bokaro International Film Festival (BIFF) as well as the Director Principal of DPS Bokaro, said that “Drishyam is a pioneering endeavour started by our school with a view to use films as a powerful educational tool for the students.
“It is one of the most entertaining yet effective means of learning and in the modern times, films have become the latest educational tools. Films provide impetus to the creativity of students and promote appreciation for classic films of the world of cinema”, said Abhishek Kashyap the Director of International Film Festival.
Rahul Kumar Sinha, DC Deoghar graced the occasion with his presence, he is also a DPS, Bokaro alumina. In his address, he made a special note of the commendable contributions of DPS Bokaro in providing holistic education.
Rahul also interacted with the students of Class 11 and suggested students not to take peer pressure and urged the students to follow instincts, passion for success. He also talked about unconventional career options to the students.
