New Delhi: Sundeep Lakhtakia, a Telangana cadre IPS officer, 1984 batch, was on Friday appointed Director General of elite commando force National Security Guards.
He succeeds Sudhir Pratap Singh,IPS, 1983 batch,who retires on January 31. Mr. Lakhtakia’s name was cleared by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, said an official release here.
