Police reported extensive property damage and stolen property in a Wyoming home invasion on the 1600 block of Mahan Corner Road on Thursday.
A 45-year-old man was in the back of his house when he heard loud noises at 1:45 p.m. When he went to investigate, he was confronted by a man who was pointing a baseball bat at him, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe, a state police spokeswoman.
The man allegedly said he was there to confront the resident's nephew, who wasn't there. Jaffe said there were also two other intruders in the house, one wearing a mask and carrying a baseball bat.
The resident then fled unharmed, when he reportedly saw a fourth person in the car parked in his driveway.
After the perpetrators drove away, the man returned to home to find extensive damage to his front door and inside the house, in addition to missing property, Jaffe said.
In connection with the home invasion, officers arrested Kim Forsythe, 49, of Magnolia; Dorian Pierce, 25, of Magnolia; Desmond Abernathy, 26, of Magnolia; and a 17-year-old from Dover.
