Ward number 6 hold 7 in Kanggui Inter Ward Tourney

Kangpokpi, January 19 2018: The first match of 13 th Kanggui Inter Ward Wise Tournament today played between Ward number 6 and Ward number 7 at Brig M Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi DHQs ended in a 2-2 draw while Ward number 13 outclassed Ward number 5 and Ward number 2 (A) defeated Ward number 4 (B) in the second and third match respectively.

Daniel and Kakai scored for Ward number 7 in the 7th and 28th minute while Thangoulun struck twice for Ward number 6 in the 14th and 24th minute.

Lenggoulen of Ward number 6, Haolenmang and Khakham of Ward number 7 were booked yellow cards by the centre referee for their unsporting behaviours and dangerous fouls 13th , 49th and 51st minute respectively.

In the second match, Ward number 13 outclassed Ward number 5 through the lone goal of Lamgou in the 25th minute while Ngamgoulal of Ward number 5 and Thanggoulal of Ward number 13 were booked in the 24th and 60th minute for their dangerous tackle.

In the third match, Daniel (5th ), Paosat (12th ) and Jangtinlal (54th ) scored to give Ward number 2 (A) an easy victory over Ward number 4 (B) while Daniel of Ward number 2 (A) was booked twice and sent off by the centre referee for a foul in the 56th and an intentional handball in the 60th minute.

Tomorrow, Ward number 12 and Ward number 14 (B) team will play in the first match at 11 am and Ward number 4 (A) team and Ward number 8 (B) team will play in the second match at 12.30 pm while Ward number 9 and Ward number 1 (B) team will play in the third match at 2 pm.
