Lyles quickly addressed the situation pointing out that whenever Benham appears before the Charlotte City Council, she does not interrupt him during his three minutes. Jordan Rinaldi, a graduate of Butler High and UNC Charlotte, is featured on the card for UFC Fight Night Charlotte, taking place Jan. 27 at Spectrum Center. In the biggest match of his career, he faces the undefeated Gregor Gillespie in a lightweight bout that’s part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s big “Fight Night” event.

Aaron Pearce of Charlotte, NC built a snowman along a path at McAlpine Creek Park on Wednesday during a driving snowstorm. By Thursday as Pearce had said, "someone will knock it down," the snowman had been destroyed before the warm temperatures could melt him away. So for fun, we decided to speed up Pearce's work from Wednesday and enjoy the snowman in his finest hours.

Aaron Pearce of Charlotte, NC finally got the sticky snow that he has been waiting for to build a snowman on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Pearce decided to build a snowman along a walking path at McAlpine Creek Park in east Charlotte. The creation has its arms extended as if to give passerby a hug.
