NAMI Lorain County has unveiled “Family to Family,” a free, 10-week course for families, partners and friends of individuals living and suffering from mental illness.
This class is taught by highly trained NAMI family members and caregivers who are living with their loved one’s mental illness, according to a news release. This course dwells on the emotional responses families have to the trauma of mental illness.
The class will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Feb. 7 to April 18 at ClearVista Health and Wellness Center 3364 Kolbe Road in Lorain. Those interested in attending any of these classes or support groups must call the NAMI office to RSVP at 440-204-4391.
