CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A pair of national lawmakers plans to speak during one of several Women's March events taking place in New Hampshire.
The Granite State is set to host several marches on Saturday. They are expected to take place in Concord, Wilton, Portsmouth, Peterborough, Jackson and Lancaster.
The Concord event is scheduled to take place outside the New Hampshire Statehouse. Democratic Sen. Maggie Hassan and Rep. Annie Kuster are both expected to speak at the rally.
The marches are marking the anniversary of the first Women's March which drew millions of people in U.S. and around the world.
Saturday's marches are happening all over the country and are taking place on the anniversary of the inauguration of Donald Trump as president. Last year's Women's March was the day after Trump's inauguration.
