On Saturday, GHMC issued orders for removal of unauthorised hoardings in its limits by a private agency chosen through online tendering process.
There are 333 unauthorised hoardings in the city, and for their removal, the corporation had invited tenders in December last year. One Istaa Ads won the bidding, a note from the GHMC informed.
The agency will take up removal works daily in all five zones, as per schedules fixed by GHMC. The confiscated material will be weighed and weigh slips certified by the Advertisement Engineer concerned.
