RAJOURI: Ridhima a class 9th student of Happy Home Hr Sec School Jawahar Nagar Rajouri bagged first prize in Inter school debate competition organised in Rajouri by Private School Association Rajouri. The event was organised on the theme ‘Mazhab Nahi’n Sikhata Aapas main Bair Rkhna” in which students of about dozen schools of education zone Rajouri participated.
Students while expressing their views laid stress on communal harmony and unity in diversity. They threw light on the importance of brotherhood and communal harmony for ever lasting peace and termed it important for development. Ridhima while laying stress on unity in diversity gave examples of the unity among our freedom fighters due to which we were able to get independence from English rule. Meanwhile addressing gathering president of association Khurshid Bismil appealed the students to be the messenger of peace and spread the message of brotherhood. He informed that such events are being organised in the entire Rajori Distt and the winners will take part in Inter distt competition and after that winner from Inter Distt will go for Inter State competitions.
