Daisy Ann Pinkerton

Daisy Ann Pinkerton, 92, of Decatur, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, in Decatur.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Trinity Fellowship Church with Bill Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur is handling arrangements.

Pallbearers include Brent Mann, Blake Alexander, Brett Alexander, Kyle Alexander, Ross Alexander and Bryce Alexander.

Honorary pallbearers are Janet Armstrong, Dr. Kelly Tibbels, Cody Gillispie, Earl Doherty, Herb Williams, Ken Cannon and Larry Michener.

Daisy was born Dec. 12, 1925, in Alvord to Joshua and Ione Virginia (Raney) Whitaker. She married Raymond Ashley Pinkerton Jr August 3, 1941, in Lawton, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Ann Mann of Greenwood and Helen Lynn Alexander and husband, Don, of Decatur; grandchildren Janet Armstrong and husband, Neil, of Bridgeport, Brent Mann of Greenwood, Blake Alexander and wife, Lori, of Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio and Brett Alexander and wife, Tammy, of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
