Dunlap beats Metamora on Christina Britter's last-second shot

Christina Britter's comeback season continues as she scored a layup with 1.2 seconds left to give host Dunlap a 44-42 victory over Metamora on Friday night.

The Eagles (15-5, 7-3) held a 21-17 halftime lead but trailed 33-31 entering the final quarter.

Alivia West scored half of her team-high 12 points in the third quarter to give the Redbirds the slim edge. Metamora (10-10, 4-5) also had Reagon Begole and Anne Peters in double figures with 10 points each.

Britter also lifted the Eagles over Canton earlier this season with a layup in the final seconds.

Kai Koehler scored a game-high 13 points for the Eagles. Taraji Davis finished with 11 points and Britter had 10.
