Ujjain: Free eye check up camp on birth anniversary of Shanti Swarupanand Giri Maharaj
Ujjain: The birth anniversary of Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shanti Swarupanand Giri Maharaj will be celebrated on Monday according to religious and spiritual traditions. In 1977, on Basant Panchami, the swami initiated himself for ‘sanyaas’ at Prayagraj Kumbh under Mahamandaleshwar Swami Paramanand Giri Maharaj.
Trust treasurer Ashok Prajapat informed that on Monday, the birth anniversary celebrations will begin at 11 am with bhajans and lectures from the Swami. Also, an eye check up camp will be organised by Murlidhar Kripa Eye Hospital Maksi at Char Dham Temple premises from 10 am. After a written permission of the people whose eyes are to be operated, they will be operated at Maksi Muralidhar Hospital at the expense of the hospital and food, snacks and medicine will also be provided.
After the operation, hospital has made arrangements to bring the person back to the city. Any person who wants to get his eyes tested should reached the temple premises by 9 am to get himself registered and take advantage of free eye check up camp.
