Arsenal talisman Sanchez is close to completing his move to Old Trafford.
United playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan will head the other way to the Gunners, with reports today claiming the deal is a straight swap with no money involved.
Mkhitaryan has agreed his Arsenal contact and the Armenia international will undergo his medical over the next two days.
Sanchez, 29, will earn a staggering £500,000-a-week at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho.
And former Red Devils star Ferdinand has urged Sanchez to bring silverware to Old Trafford.
