Real estate brokers who trade without a valid licence are breaking the law, Government warned today.

The Superintendent of Real Estate said failure to renew licences for the 2017-18 period while continuing to trade is an offence under the Real Estate Brokers’ Licensing Act.

Offenders could face a fine of $10,000 and two years in jail.

Information on how to apply for a real estate licence and application forms can be found at www.gov.bm.

Questions about the application process can be sent to cnfox@gov.bm or glomara@gov.bm.
