UofL football defensive coordinator resigns

The University of Louisville football team is looking for its third defensive coordinator in as many seasons.

Peter Sirmon resigned on Friday to take an assistant's job at the University of California.

“I would like to thank Peter Sirmon for all of his work this season at the University of Louisville,” head coach Bobby Petrino said. “I wish him and his family all the best.”
