NATIONAL SUMMARY

Warmth will continue to build over much of the Central

states today as temperatures continue to rebound in the

East. An area of high pressure is forecast to slide eastward

and off the Carolina coast this weekend. A southwesterly

flow will continue the warmup despite an influx of clouds

and showers over parts of the lower Mississippi Valley and

southern Plains. Snow showers will dip into northern New

England, ahead of a push of chilly air at night. As a storm

continues to push across the interior West, snow will extend
