Manchester United are back in Premier League action with a trip to Burnley and Jose Mourinho has some decisions to make.

Alexis Sanchez was not signed in time to feature, so United's attackers will all be wanting to make an impression at Turf Moor.

Ashley Young returns from suspension, but Daley Blind has picked up a 'little problem' and will not feature.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly are long-term absentees, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is fit but will not feature amid transfer interest from Arsenal.

Here's how our writers think Manchester United should line up versus Burnley.

Samuel Luckhurst

There is little need for Mourinho to change the United team, despite Ashley Young's return from suspension. Luke Shaw is in fine form, Antonio Valencia is an untouchable, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones have defended securely, Anthony Martial scored on Monday and United have looked threatening with Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard in the front four.

Nemanja Matic could do with another breather to ready him for the trip to Tottenham on January 31, though. Matic was arguably United's poorest performer against Stoke and Ander Herrera's intensity was key to victory at Burnley last season. United travel to Yeovil next week and Matic almost certainly will not start that FA Cup tie.

Despite that five-day trip to Dubai, Nemanja Matic still looked a little jaded against Stoke on Monday night and this could be an opportunity to hand him a lengthy breather, with Friday's trip to Yeovil to come.

Otherwise, it is hard to argue making any major changes - even with Ashley Young returning. The back four looks very settled and Eric Bailly may also face a tough task to get back into the fold.

Usually, Marcus Rashford would be in line for a start but Anthony Martial is in red hot form while Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard have both enjoyed sparkling winters. Who needs Alexis Sanchez, eh?

Matic still looks in need of a rest after a heavy workload in the first half of the season, but Friday's trip to Yeovil is the ideal time to give the Serbian a few days off and he should start at Turf Moor.

Young returns to the squad after his suspension but Luke Shaw has played well in his absence and does not deserve to lose his place.

Further forward, Mourinho does not have Alexis Sanchez but does have some attackers in form and the front four picks itself with Rashford an excellent option from the bench.
