Lust for money and power pollutes politics! If you see what I see: the cesspool of corruption, lies, abuse and hate polluting our democracy, and you, like me, want to do something about it, you need to know we can change if we want.

Don’t be dragged into the “swamp;” instead, “Be the change you want to see.” Our goal is to select “socially moral” leaders to manage government so that it efficiently and effectively protects and promotes life, liberty and prosperity for all people of the United States.

Actively involved “socially moral” citizens can do what Trump will never accomplish — “drain the swamp!” It is activism by example to mobilize “socially moral” people to vote.

Dos and don’ts for the socially moral citizen: Strive for authenticity, balance and civility. Authenticity: Do be honest and truthful. Don’t bend the truth to your liking. Balance: Do look for fair solutions to real problems. Don’t jump on one side of wedge issues. Civility: Do exhibit the utmost in civil behavior. Don’t be defensive, rude, or disrespectful.

Primaries are crucial. If the political establishment and a few wealthy elite are allowed, unchallenged, to select their ethically compromised candidates, then the general election is an exercise in futility as we march to the poll to cast a vote for the lesser of two evils. Socially moral citizens must intercede.

“Socially moral” candidates must be encouraged to run in the dominant-party primary. Independent-minded socially moral citizens must vote in record numbers in the primary. This is how we break the hold money and political insiders have on our government. I cannot change politics, but I can be the change I want. You cannot change politics, but you can be the change you want. We can change politics!
