Patwar Association demands immediate arrest of attackers

SAMBA: All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association (AJKPA) on Saturday staged a protest at Nandi Hills DC Office Complex Samba under the leadership of Mushtaq Ahmed Ganaie Vice President of the State AJKPA.
A large number of Girdawars and Patwaris of District Samba and Kathua assembled in DC Office Complex and raised slogans against the concerned department. They demanded that a strict action should be taken against the culprits who were involved in murderous attack on our colleagues at Tehsil Office Ramgarh in district Samba in which many Patwaris and Girdawars were injured and one critically injured Mohd Saleem Girdawar was shifted to Amritsar where he underwent two surgeries.
They also said that police administration is unable to trace the culprits who were involved in this attack. The members of the association strongly contended that if the culprits are not arrested today the association might call for province wise agitation.
Those present included Neelam Singh acting District President Samba, Mohd Din Tehsil President Ramgarh, Raj Kumar District President Kathua, Latif Tehsil President Basohli and Arun Kumar Secretary Kathua.
