Junior forward Anthony Angello scored both goals to lead No. 4 Cornell University to a 2-0 victory over 19th-ranked Colgate at Lynah Rink on Friday night, extending the Big Red's unbeaten streak to seven games.

Angello, who has seven goals in the past seven games, gave the Big Red a 1-0 lead two minutes, 40 seconds into the game.

Cornell capped the scoring 43 seconds into the second period on Angello’s power-play goal. Angello redirected a shot from sophomore defenseman Yanni Kaldis.

Freshman goalie Matthew Galajda stopped 24 shots for his fourth shutout this season. Galajda is one shutout behind All-American David McKee for the program’s all-time freshman shutout record.
